My Green Patch 2 (contd.)

Karipatta is the zany old one in my garden, who scared me by looking dead and blackened through February and part of March, then one fine day surprised me by sprouting new stems and leaves. As my colleague says, one should simply never give up, just have patience and keep giving water, in the sun a bit. And then you have happiness that looks like this:

Next is pudina or mint, who grows wild and really fast, and has made my summer fragrant and fresh in eating & drinking at least, so far. For now, this is the last one. Am exhausted by the day’s events. Apologies for the abrupt ending to this post. Goodnight. Here’s pudina, the star of everyday.
